One of my favorite characters from Young Justice who doesn't get enough love. Part of a Young Justice tribute I did this with some of my Underground Freshmen peeps. Slowly transitioning my style from comic to more of an animated style since I want to work for a studio.

Have her get her hand checked out. Looks like she tried to high-five a ceiling fan. I like using foreshortening in character poses too, it's just that it looks unnatural even when done perfectly. Our brains prefer contrast and definition. Our eyes seek out patterns, profiles, silhouettes, etc. If you absolutely must have a 2D character appear to be 3D, it's better to imply. Don't stretch her out unless it's one of her powers. Just my $0.02

Much love to Rocket. Love that redesign. It's too bad she didn't get a proper introduction in the first season. I mean everybody got one, Zatanna, Artemis, hell even Impulse got one in season 2, but not Rocket. SMH. Here's hoping she and Icon get more screen time this upcoming season.
